Цель работы - определение частоты ППС у детей и подростков школьного возраста.</p><sec><title>Материал и методы</title><p>Материал и методы. В рамках исследования ЭПИЗОД («Эпидемиология Приступов потерИ соЗнания у детей и пОДростков школьного возраста») проведено анкетирование родителей 85,5% (5728 анкет) школьников 6-17 (11 ± 5,4) лет Петушинского района Владимирской области. В анкету включены вопросы о наличии ППС у их детей, случаев внезапной смерти (ВС) в семье до 50 лет.</p></sec><sec><title>Результаты</title><p>Результаты. Возвращено 1732 анкеты (респонс 30,2%), в которых девочки и мальчики составили 49,2 и 50,8% соответственно. Выделены 4 группы: группа А - ППС (4,2%); группа Б - предсинкопе (13,8%); группа В - ВС в семье (18,2%); группа Г - без симптомов и ВС в семье (81,9%). В группе А значительно преобладали девочки (50 из 881 девочки и 23 из 851 мальчика), что составило 5,7% против 2,7% (p &lt; 0,00005). Случаи ВС в семье достоверно (p &lt; 0,00005) чаще отмечены у детей с ППС: 31 (42,5%) анкета из 73 и только у 285 (17,1%) из 1659 детей без ППС.</p></sec><sec><title>Обсуждение</title><p>Обсуждение. Полученные нами результаты согласуются с данными об изучении встречаемости приступов потери сознания у детей в мировых исследованиях. Однако различаются по источникам получения информации - обращаемость к врачам, госпитализация в больницы и др.</p></sec><sec><title>Выводы</title><p>Выводы. Распространенность ППС у российских детей школьного возраста составляет 4,2%, и ППС встречаются преимущественно у девочек. Только 19,2% родителей детей с ППС обращаются по этому поводу к врачам. Анкетирование родителей является эффективным методом активного выявления детей с синкопальными состояниями. Сочетание ППС и ВС в семье формирует группу детей, в которой должны исключаться семейные заболевания с риском ВС.</p></sec></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Background. The epidemiology of loss of consciousness or syncope in Russian children’s population is unknown.Aim of the study. To determine the frequency of syncope in children and adolescents. In the study of the EPISODE (EPIdemiology of Syncope in schOol chilDren and adolEscents), there were surveyed parents from 85.5% of all school children from one of the central districts of Russia (Vladimir city area, Petushki district). There were 5728 questionnaires with questions about the syncope in their children, cases of sudden death (SD) in the family were common. 1732 questionnaires were returned (30.2%), the girls and boys were 50.8% vs 49.2% respectively. There were divided in 4 groups: A) syncope — 4.2%; B) presyncope — 13.8%; B) Sudden Death (SD) before 50 years old in the family —18.2%; D) 81,9% — without symptoms and SD in the family. In group A, girls dominated as 5.7% versus 2.7%, p &lt;0.00005. The SD in group A was more common than in the children without syncope (42.5% versus 17,1%, p &lt;0.00005).Conclusions: The prevalence of syncope among school children in Russia amounted to 4.2%. Syncope is found mainly in girls.
